Terms of Service
Welcome to Ncntrs (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Ncntrs mobile application and website available at ncntrs.com and app.ncntrs.com (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who can use Ncntrs
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using the Service you confirm you are of legal age in your country of residence and have the right to enter into these Terms.
2. Your account
You can create an account with email and password, or with Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your credentials secure. You must not impersonate another person or use the Service on behalf of someone without their permission.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
- Post content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that violates someone else’s rights.
- Use the Service to distribute spam, malware, or unsolicited commercial content.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or bypass the security of the Service.
- Use automated tools, scrapers, or bots without our written permission.
We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines without prior notice.
4. Meeting other users
Ncntrs helps people discover real-world social events and meet other humans. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. We do not conduct background checks. Meet in public places, use your judgment, and report behaviour that violates our Community Guidelines.
5. Content
You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service (profile photos, event listings, messages). You grant Ncntrs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute that content solely to operate and improve the Service. You represent you have the rights necessary to grant this licence.
6. Account deletion
You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. When you request deletion, your account is soft-deleted and scheduled for permanent deletion after 30 days. You can restore your account by signing in again within that window. After 30 days your account and associated personal data are permanently deleted, except where we are legally required to retain certain records.
7. Third-party sign-in
If you sign in with Apple or Google, you authorise Ncntrs to receive limited profile information (name, email, stable identifier) from those providers for the purpose of creating and managing your account. Their terms and privacy policies also apply to their part of the flow.
8. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchant- ability, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee the Service will be error- free, secure, or uninterrupted.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ncntrs and its team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising out of your use of the Service.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you via the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Ncntrs operates, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
