Delete your Ncntrs account
You can delete your Ncntrs account at any time. Deletion is available in the app and, if you cannot open the app, by emailing us from the address on the account.
In the app
- Open Ncntrs and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
Your profile is hidden immediately. After a 30-day grace period the account and personal data are permanently removed from our active systems. Signing in again during those 30 days restores the account.
Without the app
Email privacy@ncntrs.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm the request and apply the same 30-day grace period.
What we delete
When deletion completes we remove, from our active systems:
- Your profile (name, photos, bio, demographics, social links).
- Identity-verification records and ID / passport images used for the verified badge.
- Messages, encounter listings you hosted, and applications, subject to the notes below.
- Location history, device tokens, and sign-in identifiers we stored for your account.
Limited backups may retain copies for up to 90 days and are then overwritten. We keep only what the law requires (for example security or tax records) for the minimum period, and we may retain anonymised or aggregated data that can no longer identify you. Content you posted that other people still need to understand an encounter (for example a host name on a past event they attended) may be replaced with a generic placeholder rather than left intact.
