Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Spark Digital SpA (“we,” “our,” “us”), the company that operates Ncntrs, uses cookies and similar technologies on the Ncntrs website available at ncntrs.com and app.ncntrs.com (collectively, the “Service”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. They let the site remember information about your visit, such as your language preference or whether you are signed in. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which work in a comparable way but are managed by the browser rather than sent back to the server.
2. How Ncntrs uses cookies
Ncntrs is a mobile-first service. The Ncntrs mobile app does not use cookies to operate: it uses secure on-device storage for authentication tokens. The Ncntrs website uses strictly necessary cookies to stay secure, and optional analytics and marketing cookies only after you accept them in the cookie banner.
3. Types of cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These are required to run the Service and cannot be turned off. They include:
- Session cookies that keep you signed in to the website.
- CSRF / XSRF tokens that protect forms and sign-in from cross-site attacks.
- Load-balancing cookies set by our hosting provider to route traffic reliably.
Preferences
These remember choices you make so the Service behaves the way you expect. For example, the language selector (EN / ES) stores your choice so the site stays in that language on your next visit.
Analytics
With your consent, we use Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics 4.
Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) and receives the
pages you view, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and
a cookie identifier, so we can see how the website is used. We do not sell
this data. Google’s processing is described in
Google’s Privacy Policy.
These cookies stay off until you choose “Accept all” or turn Analytics on
under “Customize.” If you reject them, we do not set analytics cookies.
Google Tag Manager may still receive a cookieless signal (no analytics
cookie) so we can understand aggregate traffic. Your choice is stored in
this browser (ncntrs_consent in local storage) for 6 months.
You can change it any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer.
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we treat that as a rejection: analytics and marketing stay off, and we do not ask you to accept them.
Marketing
With your consent, tags in Google Tag Manager may measure advertising (for example Google Ads). Those tags can set advertising cookies and share technical data with Google for that purpose. They stay off unless you accept marketing cookies.
4. Third-party cookies
When you choose “Sign in with Apple” or “Sign in with Google,” those providers may set their own cookies on their domains as part of their authentication flow. Those cookies are governed by the providers’ own cookie and privacy policies. Ncntrs does not control them and does not read them.
The Ncntrs mobile app does not use advertising cookies. It may use device advertising identifiers with Meta and Google to measure ads that promote Ncntrs, as described in our Privacy Policy (section 4).
5. How long cookies are kept
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Preference cookies typically remain for up to 12 months unless you clear them earlier. Strictly necessary security cookies are kept only for as long as needed to perform their function. Your cookie choice is kept for 6 months. Google Analytics cookies, once you accept them, follow Google’s expiry (often up to 2 years) until you reject analytics or clear site data. Rejecting deletes the analytics and ads cookies we can remove from this site.
6. Managing cookies
Use the banner on your first visit, or “Cookie settings” in the footer, to accept or reject analytics and marketing. “Reject all” is offered next to “Accept all.” Most browsers also let you view, block, and delete cookies through their settings, usually under “Privacy,” “Security,” or “Site data.” Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break parts of the website — for example, you may not be able to sign in. On the mobile app, you can sign out or delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service.
